Founded by Richard Simpson in 2001, Simstock Rural has been serving the local and surrounding areas for more than 20 years. We’re based in Longreach, QLD, which is where most of our business takes place. We also work with clients in the wider area, including the Gulf of Queensland, Central NT, and Central, Southern and Western QLD.

After working for many years in the industry, Richard has developed a wide network of clients, buyers and sellers. This allows him to make profitable sales quickly to keep your business moving. Richard also supports our clients with business advice specific to the current market and your position in it.

Richard’s many years in the industry have given him the knowledge required to succeed as a grazier in the livestock industry. As well as livestock and property sales, Richard also supports our clients with financial advice. This includes how to diversify your business to survive challenging conditions such as drought or market dips.

Agent/Livestock Assessor

Andrew is a certified assessor for online platforms and can help you get the best price for your stock whether it’s for a private sale, direct to works or online auction. With 10 years of experience in buying and selling commercial livestock, Andrew is able to provide an accurate valuation in line with current market trends.

Zoe Lines

Executive Assistant

At Simstock Rural, our Executive Assistant Zoe supports the business and our valued clients to make sure everything runs smoothly. Zoe is the go-to person for client requirements such as IT issues, help with accreditations, NLIS transfers, and purchasing and liaising the arrival of merchandise.
